Social media / Planning, posting & reporting

Social media management
for contractors.

Keep your work visible without making every post another job on your list. We turn real projects, useful advice, and the people behind your business into a consistent social media plan.

Agreed channels, posting cadence, approvals, and deliverables. No vague promise to “handle everything.”

Social media marketing for contractors

A feed that looks
like your business.

A finished roof. A difficult site prepared properly. A crew member explaining the detail most customers miss. Those stories show what you do more clearly than another generic motivational graphic.

We organize the material into posts that answer buying questions, show your work, and give interested people a useful next step. The tone stays human and the claims stay accurate.

A defined monthly workflow

From “we should post that”
to a plan you can review.

Channel & content planning

Choose the channels that fit your customers, starting with Facebook and Instagram where appropriate. Set a manageable cadence around priority services, seasonal work, and available material.

Captions & post preparation

Clear copy, useful project context, and formats suited to the channel. Build from approved photos and footage instead of filling the calendar with unrelated stock content.

Short-form video

Turn usable footage into focused clips, with captions and a clear point. Editing volume, source quality, and whether a new shoot is needed are agreed in the scope.

Review & scheduled publishing

A content calendar and an approval process before release. Once approved, posts are scheduled on the agreed connected channels.

Comments & inquiry routing

Define who checks messages, what can be answered, and which questions go to the office. Community management and response coverage are included only when specifically agreed.

Useful reporting

Review published work, available reach and engagement data, website traffic, and traceable inquiries. Follower counts and views are context, not substitutes for business results.

Capture once. Plan several useful pieces.

The content starts
with the actual work.

Our contractor production work includes an on-location roofing business story in Goshen, Indiana, with interview and supporting footage. That is the kind of real source material a thoughtful publishing plan can build on.

A project shoot can be planned for a website feature, short social clips, job photos, and answers to common customer questions. The final asset list and publishing schedule are agreed separately; one does not automatically include the other.

Keep the responsibilities clear

Content production, social management,
and paid ads are different jobs.

Need better material?

Video and photography covers planning, capturing, and editing your assets. Shoots and major production work are separately scoped.

Need consistent publishing?

Social media management covers the agreed calendar, captions, approval process, posting, and reporting. Use your own approved material or combine it with production.

Need paid distribution?

Paid advertising covers campaigns, targeting, ad creative requirements, and conversion tracking. Platform ad spend is separate from organic social management.

Questions about social media management

How many posts are included?

The cadence is set in the proposal along with the channels, formats, revision rounds, and approval timing. We choose a schedule the business can support with useful material rather than promising daily posts regardless of quality.

Do we need to provide the photos and videos?

You can provide material you have permission to use, or we can scope a content shoot. We review existing footage and photos for quality, permissions, and usefulness before putting them in the plan.

Do you reply to every comment or direct message?

Not by default. If response support is included, the agreement defines coverage, escalation, and what needs your team's answer. Job estimates, scheduling decisions, and sensitive customer issues stay with the appropriate person in your business.

Will social media bring us leads?

It can support discovery and help people evaluate the business, but posting does not guarantee leads or sales. We connect posts to a clear website or inquiry path and report what can actually be traced.

Can you work with contractors outside Michigan?

Yes. We serve Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Planning and publishing can be coordinated remotely; on-site shoots and travel are confirmed separately.
