Websites that carry their weight
A site that loads fast on a phone, says plainly what you do, and gives someone an obvious way to get in touch.
Toledo, OH
Toledo is the Glass City and Jeep's home base, and a lot of the small businesses here sell into that world: machine shops, fabricators, tool suppliers, fleet repair and installers. Those owners often have a site built years ago that lists no capabilities, no tolerances and no equipment, so a buyer comparing three suppliers cannot tell what the shop actually does. The work is there. The page does not describe it.
Auto supply and industrial service shops
Toledo's industrial base runs on tiers. Jeep operates two plants in the Toledo Complex, one in the city and one in Perrysburg, and glass and auto parts firms sit around them, which supports a long tail of independent shops doing machining, welding, coatings, hydraulics, tooling and fleet service.
Their buyers are purchasing agents and shop managers who search by capability and material, then check whether the shop is close enough for a same day run. A site that lists processes, materials and equipment in plain text gets shortlisted. One that says quality workmanship since inception does not.
The goal is a better inquiry, not a bigger pile of bad ones.
Real work, real coverage

A live client site, not a template preview. Every build starts from what the business actually sells and where it actually works.
What the work is
Not a package. The parts that matter for a small business competing locally.
A site that loads fast on a phone, says plainly what you do, and gives someone an obvious way to get in touch.
Google Business Profile, the map pack, and the searches people actually type when they need your kind of work.
A simple routine for requesting reviews so the habit sticks instead of happening once and stopping.
The local picture
Search here is regional rather than neighborhood driven, because the industrial customer will drive twenty minutes without thinking about it. That makes the ring towns as important as the city: Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, Oregon, Northwood, Sylvania and Waterville, plus Bedford Township and Temperance just across the Michigan line.
Toledo also sits close enough to Detroit that some suppliers compete for the same accounts. Inside the city, the Warehouse District, Old West End and the Marina District carry retail and services, while the Dorr Street and Uptown corridors serve neighborhood trade. Few local competitors publish detailed capability pages.
Timing
Toledo is a year round market. Industrial and fleet work does not follow a season, though quoting slows in late December and picks up with new budgets in January.
What does fluctuate is consumer trade, with HVAC spiking in the first heat and the first freeze, and roofing following spring wind and hail. Manufacturing demand tracks plant schedules and shutdowns instead of the calendar.
Straight answer
Tin Roof Digital is one person, Sam Harrington, working remotely from Three Rivers, Michigan. There is no Toledo office and no local rep who stops by. Toledo is close enough to southwest Michigan that the industrial mix is familiar, and if you need capability language written correctly, you explain it once to the person who will actually type it into the page.
Page structure
Four things decide whether a search turns into a call: what you do, where you do it, proof that you have done it, and an obvious way to reach you. Here is that structure laid out.

A wireframe, not a real business. It shows the shape of the page. The words, photos, and offers are yours.
How it goes
Send your site and I go through it by hand. You get back what is working, what is blocking the next call, and where to start. No call required.
If it makes sense to work together, you get a plan with the work, the price, and the order it happens in. Flat monthly, no long contract.
The work gets done and you get monthly reporting you can actually read, not a dashboard nobody opens.
Questions from Toledo owners
It does, differently. Buyers still search capability plus location because proximity affects freight and turnaround.
A Google Business Profile with correct categories and hours makes you findable for that check, while your site does the qualifying with process lists, materials, tolerances and equipment. The goal is being shortlisted, not walk in traffic.
If you want that work, name it. Bedford Township, Temperance and Lambertville are minutes away, and buyers there search with Michigan terms.
Adding an honest service area page that names those communities is legitimate. Claiming a Detroit presence you do not have is not, and it dilutes the relevance you have earned locally.
More than most shops publish. List processes, materials, size ranges, finishing and typical lead times as readable text.
Buyers and AI search tools both extract from text, not from a scanned brochure. If a competitor lists their capabilities and you list adjectives, the competitor gets the quote request even when your shop is better equipped.
